Almond Pizza Crust Recipe

There is nothing denied in Paleo Diet Recipes. Bake your favorite pizza with this gluten, grain and dairy free crust recipe. What a combination in this recipe. Ingredients are gluten free almond flour, milk and cheese. Yummy what a delicious unique crust taste and flavor. Not a processed crust purchased at the market or fast food restaurant. Wholesome unaltered nutrition provided by the natural foods.

Ingredients: 
  • 2 Cups Almond Flour
  • 2 finely Crushed Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/4 Baking Soda
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Almond Milk
  • 3/4 to 1 Cup Almond Cheese

Preparation:
Preheat Oven 350 degrees F

  • Mix all ingredients well.
  • Amount of milk may vary to obtain dough consistence
  • Make mixture into dough ball.
  • With almond flour roll dough ball (cover with flour)
  • Place dough ball into oiled pizza tray
  • With hand mash into pizza crust
  • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes (until done)
  • Remove crust from oven
  • Ready to add topping

Paleo Coffee Cake Recipe

Paleo Coffee Cake Recipe
Gluten and grain free coffee cake. Sweet, moist with a little crunch. Serve warm with almond butter. Have fresh fruit and a glass of your favorite juice. Start morning off with sweet natural nutrition.


Ingredients

1 cup coconut flour
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
8 medium eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup plain almond yogurt
5 tablespoons almond or coconut butter
1/2 cup raw honey
1 tablespoon vanilla




Topping  Ingredients

1 1/2 cup diced walnuts
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon nutmeg
5 tablespoon honey
4 tablespoons almond or coconut butter (soften)

Preparation
Preheat oven 325 F degrees
In food processor place all cake ingredients.
Blend until cake smooth
In medium bowl mix all topping ingredients. Mix well until all topping ingredients combined and smooth.
Pour cake batter in butter 8"X8" baking dish.
Spread topping on top layer of cake batter.
Bake 40 - 45 minutes until done. Verify by placing tooth pick in middle remove. Tooth pick should be free of batter.
Remove from oven and let cool for 25-30 minutes.

Serve warm or cool.

Delicious dessert Chai Bread Pudding. Paleo dessert recipe ingredients almond bread and milk, mango, banana and puree pumpkin. Oh do not forget flax seed meal. Gluten, dairy and processed sugar free dessert. Moist and sweetened with natural fruits. Sweet tooth dessert that is nutritious. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 loaf almond bread (cubed about 6 cups)
  • 1 cup dried mango (dice and soak in warm water until soft)
  • 2 ripe bananas = 1 cup (mashed bananas)
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 15 oz canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon gram masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 5 tablespoons flax seed meal
  • Dash of honey or agave (optional)

Preparation:
  • Preheat oven 350 degrees F
  • On baking sheet spread cubed almond bread and place in oven
  • Bake bread cubes until golden about 5 to 7 minutes
  • Remaining ingredients puree until liquefied.
  • Combine bread cubes with liquid mango-banana mixture.
  • Line 9"x13" baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Then evenly spread bread mixture in baking dish.
  • Let rest for 1 hour to allow bread to soak up mango banana mixture.
  • Bake in oven (350 degrees F) for about 45 to 60 minutes. Remove when golden brown on top.
  • Allow to cool for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Can serve warm or refrigerate and serve cold.

Consistency may vary dried and liquid ingredients add to taste.

Enjoy a warm slice of  bread with dairy free butter. Dairy butter is mostly used in cooking and baking. Commercial dairy butters are saturated and processed. Finding a dairy butter alternative can be a challenge. Paleo Diet provides vegetable based butter recipes.  Both butters are unsaturated fats (good fats),  gluten, dairy and preservative free.  Butter recipes are simple and easy. All you need are almonds or pecans, olive oil and blender. Home make butter recipes or may prefer to purchase at organic market. Specialty and major food markets are now carrying dairy free butters or spreads. Specialty organic and natural  food markets are Whole Foods Market and Trader Joe's. I have seen at Whole Food almond, coconut and flax seed butter/spreads. What is a slice of warm bread without butter. Now enjoy dairy free butter.
 
Almond Butter Recipe:
Almond Oil Base Unsaturated Fat

Ingredients:

- 1 1/2 cups toasted almonds
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation:
- Put toasted almonds in food processor until very finely grounded.
- Add olive oil continue processing until in fine butter form.
- Refrigerate in airtight container.
Serves approximately 24
Note: Depending on consistence may have to add more olive oil

Enjoy two layer moist delicious carrot cake with coconut frosting. Paleo friendly recipe gluten, grain, dairy free and processed sugar free. Bake this double decker with frosting or half the recipe and only bake one layer with no frosting. Fresh shredded carrots baked with orange juice, flax seeds and walnuts. Coconut frosting prepared with coconut milk and arrow root. Arrow root firms frosting. Note, coconut or almond milk is optional if needed to obtain smoother cake batter texture. Your instincts will tell you when everything is just right. Carrot Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

- 1 cup almond butter
- 4 tablespoons vanilla
- 6 eggs
- 6 cups almond flour
- 2 tsp fresh orange juice
- 2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 cup flax seeds
- 2 tsp sea salt
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 4-5 cups shredded carrot
- 3 cups unsweetened raisins
- 1/3 cup crush walnuts
- 8 tablespoon raw honey
- 1/4 cup coconut or almond milk ( optional use if needed until batter texture is smooth and lava like)

Preparation:

Preheat Oven 325 F
- Soft almond butter.
- Beat eggs well
- Blend all wet ingredients.
- In separate bowl, mix dry ingredients.
- Mix together all wet and dry.
- Grease (2) 9 inch diameter cake tin with coconut oil.
- Bake 45-50 minutes until cakes done in centers.
- Cakes to stand in the tin for 15 minutes to cool. Place on cake rack to continue cooling.
 
 
Paleo Coconut Frosting Recipe
(makes 3 cups)

Ingredients

- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup raw organic honey
- Dash salt
- 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder (arrowroot contains starch not 100% Paleo)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 1/4 cups coconut oil (melted)


Preparation:
- In medium saucepan add coconut milk, honey and salt over medium heat mix well.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, constantly stirring
- In separate bowl combine arrowroot paste with water and make paste.
- Combine arrowroot paste with mixture at medium heat mix well until mixture thickens (approximately 1-2 minutes).
- In separate bowl remove mixture from saucepan and slowly stir in coconut oil. Until mixture thoroughly blended and smooth.
- In covered container place in freezer for 30-45 minutes.
- Remove from freezer and stir until thick.
- Frost carrot cake
- Optional top frosting with crushed walnuts, pecans, shredded coconut or carrots.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups blanched almond flour
3/4 cup arrowroot powder
1/4 cup ground flax seed
4 eggs
1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp honey or agave nectar
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
3 tbsp. sesame seeds
1/4 pine nuts
1/4 cup coconut butter or oil

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Grease loaf pan ( 7.5" x 3.5" with coconut oil.
3. Large bowl beat eggs until thick and frothy
4. Stir honey, coconut oil and vinegar into egg mix.
5. Add in dry ingredients into egg mixture and mix well.
6. Fold in sesame  and pine nut seeds. Only add 2 tablespoons of sesame sees
7. Mix total mixture well.
8. Pour mixture into greased loaf pan.
9. Remaining 1 tablespoon sesame seeds sprinkle on top of loaf.
10. Bake for about 40 minutes.  Until toothpick inserted at top of loaf come out clean.
11. Let bread cool on wire rack.
12. Cut into sandwich size slices.

Paleo Pumpkin Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin (unprocessed)
- 3 tablespoons raw honey (to taste)
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup almond or coconut milk

Preparation:
- Preheat oven 350 degrees F
- Combine flour, sea salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, spice and cloves. Mix well.
- Separately mix blend milk, eggs and honey. Beat well.
- Combine dry ingredients, liquid ingredients and pumpkin.
- Mix all ingredients well until smooth.
- Loaf pan slightly grease with almond, olive oil or coconut oil.
- Pour smooth ingredients into loaf pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until thoroughly baked and remove.
- Let cool for approximately 1 hour.
